About

In 2019 I was a junior at NYU studying philosophy and creative writing when my roomate and I paid an overseas dev team to build us a commerical real estate listings website. Sadly they took our money and ran and seemingly out of options we said, "fine we'll do it ourselves". Fast-forward to today, and I've had the privledge of building a variety of both internal and customer facing applications and websites with a diverse set of technologies.

My main focus these days is building products for our customers at EasyKnock. In my free time I've also worked on several personal projects some of which you can find listed below.

When I'm not at the computer, I'm usually training Jiu Jitsu at Unity HQ, hanging out with my girlfriend and our dog Honey, or working my way throug David Foster Wallace's bibliography.

    Developed high-quality, robust production code for a diverse array of projects including serving as the lead engineer on our Customer Portal, building our document upload service, and refactoring our PandaDoc integration.

  2. Jan `20 - Dec `21

    Worked on full-stack applications with Node.js and React for both internal and external purposes. One notable project was our sales platform, used by over 80 sales reps to streamline the qualification and purchase single family homes. I also contributed to the architecture of a company website using Next.js and Styled Components.

  3. Sept `19 - Dec `19

    Ahh my first job in tech! When I was brought in I worked on the companys first true in house site as prior they had been on hubspot. This role really allowed to get my hands dirty as the small team sized forced me to work closely with product and design and handle many of the devops work for getting the site up on heroku.

  4. Jun `19 - Aug `19

    While I was first teaching myself to code I worked as Biz Dev intern for a commerical furniture company. This was my first office job and taught me a lot about communication and collaboration. It also helped pay the bills while I taught myself to code each night.

Projects

  1. easyknock

    I lead the way on our customer facing onboarding experience titled Welcome To EasyKnock. From ideating it during a hackathon when I built a document upload app for a transaction manager who was complaing about scowering their inbox for mortgage statements, I was able to bring this product to life via strong collaboration with partners in design and product. Currently we are working to integrate this web app with box.com for greater cross department visibility as well as porting our estimate page over from another repo into this one to make the customer experience more seamless.
